I’ve tried to set up my lifeguard all in one 26 gallon 2 times now. Both times it’s had issues with severe algae and phosphate issues. I’ve tried doing lots of water changes phosgaurds just about anything you can think of. This is weird to me because I normally run larger tanks. I have 3 100+ gallon tanks all running great with lots of acropora. Could anyone give me some tips on getting it started better this time. I’ve tried filter floss and protein skimmers

details would be helpful. I have a 25 nano and it was a beast to settle down. Try adding a heavy UV with 250 gph or 125 split in 2 separate systems, one of which needs to be the return tube.

Which uv do you have? It’s just a simple drain and return on the other side I’m not quite sure where I would fit a uv

My 15" nano cube.
9.5 g's total.
Started with live rock
6 months. Nothing but floss, carbon and 20% wc 2x a month.
My easiest of 4 systems.

One small enough to put in the return stream and this Fluval 107 with a FX UVC Clarifier. This will neutralize just about anything. I also do some h2o2 at about 10 ml per 25 gal daily for the single cell neusances.
