hello everyone as most of you know I currently have a 29 gallon bio cube that's been running for a year now. It had a led light, protein skimmer and canister filter with a small built in sump. Current live stock is two clown fish, a black head jaw fish and a sunrise dottyback and yellow tail damsel. Current corals are green Galaxy, two. Or three scrolls, mushrooms, bubble corals, acordias, frogsspawn, and a few others I don't know the names of. Also salinity is kept at 1.026-1.023 and temp is around 84-85. I have just recently got a new light and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get my current corals adjusted to the new light. Also does anyone have any experience with the Red Sea testing kits for ca, KH, Mg? I have no idea how to read the results from those tests. This is a picture of the new light image.jpg

Can't comment on the test kits but you may be able to Youtube the test kit and see a video of how it is done.

With the LED acclimation, I would suggest starting lower than the wattage of the original fixture and increasing the percentage by about 5% a week until you find the percentage that the corals respond to.
