Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to the hobby. I've had a 29 gallon tank running since February. Current stock: royal gramma, bicolor blenny and ocellaris clown. I'm looking to add 1 or two more fish (if possible) and I was looking for suggestions. Possibly a purple firefish, but I am concerned with how adding a 3rd fish will affect the rest of the tank. Also, very beginner corals. Any help/ suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

The best would be another clown. Then you will hit max number of fish. The two clowns will pair up. The fire fish has a chance to get bullied by the gramma. Beginning corals are zoas and candycane for the rocks leathers on the sand, and star polyp on top.

You could get away with two more fish. But it all depends on nutrient export, husbandry and other tank inhabitants. Otherwise you will run into issues.

I do like the idea of getting another clown. Just not the same one and I know you can't mix. Is it fine as long as the other is a. ocellaris. like a black and white or snowflake?

Yes. Just make sure it is equal to size or smaller as they both need to work out on who will be the more dominate one.
