Got the new ATO installed from autotopoff.com

I think if I had the double valve like this; vs the single, it would have save the overflow accident.

It’s interesting how comfortable you become with something that has worked so well for so long, until it doesn’t. Autotopoff.com is pretty awesome product for the money and simplicity it offers. Highly recommend.

Another rough day for the biocube. Steve’s LEDs stopped working. So I found a used Kessil.

Decided since I’m open top now and can’t really incorporate this light with the hood, picked up a cover.

Also definitely going to reach out Steve’s LEDs. So disappointing in how this light performed or lack there of. Never grew coral at all, and beleive me, I tried all sorts of different settings over the last year. How quickly it failed. Won’t exactly recommend.


I’m definitely enjoying this Kessil A360WE. The shimmer is awesome.

since getting a much better light, and. Dino’s diminishing as far as I can tell (I think the problem is bacteria within the lines of my RODI) (after having a lengthy conversation with Spectrapure) . I purchased some coral from Tidal Gardens live show yesterday.

Reef Cleaners package, Tidal Gardens coral package and 15 year old sick clownfish seem to be all settling in. The Kessil A360WE is pretty sweet light. I think Dinos are under control (or at least it appears to be). Very happy with the current state of this tank.

Got some really nice stuff from Tidal Gardens today.

I think this will be an all Tidal Gardens coral tank. No exceptions.

Tank is doing well. Found an aptasia, so I hit it with some Joes Juice. Dinos seem to be under control. I have moved to bi-weekly water changes and I think this is just what the tank needed.

Def take you up on that. I'm moving in a couple of weeks to a new home, back to Canal Fulton, we close the 22nd. So hopefully that goes well. After sometime of it settling, we'll chat some more.

Sounds good, just let me know, I’ve fragged the mother colony at least a half a dozen times and they have all done great. I’ll hold onto it for you.

Tank was moved to a new home over the weekend. Fish and inverts did well. Coral took some damage as expected but all and all seem like they survived. Ill give the tank a bit to adjust before placing the coral in more permanent locations. Pics to come, stay tuned.
