They're a nice addition to the tank, and add some awesome color. They will also hop on the bigger fish and clean them frequently which is cool to see.

I had two in the past and after seeing your post, I called my LFS to ask, but supposedly he doesn’t see them at the wholesalers anymore. Time to dig some more...

You have 12???

I collected these myself. I want to start captive breeding them. I know a lot of the big coral heads in the keys where you used to find dozens of neon gobies are all dead or dying. That may be partly why you don't see the wholesalers getting them anymore. I've had these for about 6 months and just now seeing the first pair spawn, at least that I know of.

If you get them bred and selling them; please let me know.

The keys just isn’t what it used to be. Where are you located in the keys? I’d love to pick a pair up once you get them breeding

Not at all.. it's very sad to see. I don't live down there though. Just collected these while on a trip. Hopefully by the end of the year I will have a decent stock of CB gobies.

Do yours fight?
Not really, I'll see them occasionally chase another one off, but not enough to cause any distress. IME, they do better the more you have. They are sort of a colonial fish at times, and when you have a decent amount it really helps keep them pretty docile towards each other.

Most photos I see this coral shows lots of green, and mixed colors. I'm hoping with lower nutrients and high par I can keep it mostly red. Seems red stags are getting harder to come across these days.

Yup, which is why I appreciate the PC Rainbow and FF Red Robin... old school cool, and still such nice reds.

Comparing PAR values and color difference in Fox Flame. First FF in low light 200-220 PAR deeper red/maroon color, less yellow in the tips. Second FF in 600 PAR more pastel, and more yellow. Can't decide which I like better

Man that efflorescence hit a nice growth spurt, looking good! I like the fox flame in higher par personally.
Don't know if it's just coincidence, but I lowered my fixture an inch and this piece took off.

Never been 100% sure what this is. Just know it came from Aus, so I'll keep calling it - Aussie Highlighter, for now.

A. Latistella - (Bali SC) hard to capture the new growth, but has a cool icy blue color.

This encrusted portion of Red Planet has such a cool pastel pink color. Would be nice to get the whole colony to that color

The floor of this tank is like a LPS/Softies junk yard. I do enjoy the extra movement they add to the tank, though.

Decided to try and take some pics of the tank inhabitants. Was not an easy task with the 100mm lens, but managed to get pics of a few fish.

Blue Chromis, Female Lyretail Anthias, and Spotcinctus Male

Probably my all time favorite fish, blue chromis. Collected these about 6 months ago

Not 100% sure what these are called other than Blue Damsel, always find them on the deeper reefs. I have 3 that are finger nail size, they add a more natural appearance to the tank being so small.
