29g biocube led questions

Hey guys I bought a biocube for my kid for Christmas. I want to know what and how many led bars I would need? I was looking at the ecoxotic stunners coupled with the panorama pro modules.
So question time.
1. Is it better to have the old oceanic brand or the new marineland brand one with the 4 on off switches on top hood?
2. I was thinking 2 panorama pros and maybe 2 stunner strips?
3. What combination of lights? Thinking of 14k and blues in the pros and blue and magenta in the stunners all on dimmers.
4. Back to the hood. Could I hook each of the strips up to the on/off switches on top of the hood to keep it stock looking?

I had a biocube (about 2yrs ago) and added panorama stunners inside the hood and the moisture destroyed them in a 2-3 months literally. I called panorama and they basically said that should not happen with their product so they sent me a new set and the same thing happened. I would not recommend putting those lights in a biocube. But that's just my experience, maybe others have had better.

Interesting I have never read that before, but that would be a pain in the *** to change them out every couple months.
