Quick question: Should I get a second AI Prime 16 HD (used) or a 21” AI Blade Grow (new) for my IM 20 gal peninsula?
Few notes:
- Focusing on growth of the corals
- I have 2 AI Prime HDs (not the 16HD) and one died so I’m looking to replace it
- I’d make the new 16HD as the parent and the old HD as the child
- Will just purchase 1blade light (grows) so I won’t have the violet spectrum
- I worry that because the blade doesn’t have red and green spectrums, my fish won’t be as colorful
- Both options will be enough spread and par since I’m keeping mostly LPS and Softies
- Blades would be new and I could sell the prime locally to offset cost or save the prime as a backup
