Well time to make a build thread then... Bit late to the party since it has been running but I'm gonna show off anyway.

I own a Reefer 350 with the following equipment:
- 4 AI Prime HD
- Jecod DCP-3500
- 2 Maxspect Jump Gyres
- 1, soon to be 2, Tunze Turbelle flow pumps
- Skimz Sn127 Skimmer
- Aqua-medic Helix UVC
- Integrated frag tank build out of RedSeas ATO tank, lit by a Tunze 8811
- RedSea Reefmat500
- Eheim jager heater controlled by an Inkbird
- Blue Marine chiller400 also controlled by the Inkbird
- Jecod WiFi Dosing pump
- Small Refugium with a Tunze refugium light and Jecod SLW-5 for flow

Most of the lifestock adjusted well when I switched from my old reefer250 to this one, lost some colonies and some are still hanging on so we will see how the tank recovers. Fish are all thriving and therefore I am very happy with this tank.

Oh yea, I supplement the tank with Alkalinity, Magnesium and trace elements from DSR an calcium from Red Sea. I dose a mixture of Vodka, Vinegar and water to control nutrients but it is very little due to the excessive mechanical filtration lol

Updated the frag tank with a new piece of eggcrate for more space for frags, also added a jecod flow pump under there to create a nice gyre flow.

Also been working on switching to Tropic Marin All for reef since i like the scientific approach that they take with their products and the results people have speak for themself!

Thought it time for a little update. After the whole upgrade fiasco the tank is crawling out of its hole finally. Corals are starting to grow and the only thing im dealing with is some deadspots. Fish are happy and healthy too! Got everything dialed in almost perfectly, only thing that is still swinging a bit are my phosfates so not that big of an issue.

Chaeto is growing like mad. Starting to think of sending out an icp to see what i may need to supplement. If anyone has any good ideas as to what to do with the harvested chaeto, it feels so useless to just toss out since i habe no one interested in it nearby and my lfs wont take it either...

Am debating recently on ordering 3 lyretail anthias and maybe a nice wrasse too. Also need some utility fish like a dragonet in my frag tank...

I found it too difficult to tune, i thought it would have been too little so i could keep carbondosing for the fine tuning. Eventually the fuge light was only on for 3 hours a night and then my nitrates hit zero, also wasnt even carbondosing anymore...

Update that I promised: I now have a double flow loop through the sump feeding my frag tank and my new zoanthus grow-out/bonus display. I am going to be stocking it with some hermits and maybe some tiny shrimp or something, open to suggestions since it is veeery small (7x8x11 inches lol)

Little update again, tank is doing great again, sps is growing strong and i have placed some acropora on the reef again. changed the allforreef to run from 2 dosing heads since the container ran out too quickly...

i have also been experimenting with hanging branching acropora from a fishing line in my frag tank, this seems to be going way better than on a plug for a couple reasons: algae cant pester the coral, the coral gets better flow, the bottom part of the branch stays alive and all growth can go into branching instead of encrusting! i will be expanding this to add more hanging coral to see how different species react, so more on that later.

in the meantime, have some pictures!
