Where to begin, the sump has been changed a bit but it's mostly cosmetics with some being functional.

Skimmers, this is where I threw away the most money. Given the sump space I've tried a few and the one that fits perfectly will be the UltraReef UKB-120 and its an amazing skimmer. Dead silent, Completely breaks down into individual pieces, DC powered, and extremely well built and heavy.
*Notice im not using this compartment entirely for the skimmer, I have a whole back section with 2 pumps and 4 hoses.*

The sump doesn't have the greatest covers, they're clear with big slits on the side of each panel, I 3D printed perfectly fitted covers with a small handle to stop all evaporation down below.
The refugium side works extremely well with the 12" AI Refugium light, too well, so dang well it killed all my nutrients in 1 month and my chaeto blew up and filled up the area and then dinoflagellates popped up. I had to stop using the refugium section lol.
*But from now on, any projects from now in reefing will have a FijiCube sump, extremely well built.*

If you manage space well, I personally would go with the FijiCube-24. You will still have tons of space, you just have to be very very mindful of placement and organization.

The S2 is amazing IMO, especially after calibrating it.
You can literally have that puppy pumping such a low amount of gph after calibration lower than 100gph, all the way up to 1400gph. This all depends on travel, bends, and other equipment like flow meters.

@2Plus2 I know you've recommended the FijiCube-24, which I might consider, though they are seeming out of stock. Can you tell me how well the Vector S2 fits inside the FijiCube-20? Are you using the intake guard as well?

I use without the guard, won’t fit with. I don’t think the fiji-24 will fit with the guard as well.

I made a few changes to my set up.

1. Installed BRS mini reactor with AquaIllumination Axis 40 Centrifugal Pump.
Reason: Dead silent, cant hear anything even at 100% do to DC pump.

2. I 3d printed all new covers for the sump.
Reason: Noticing my tank is losing roughly 1 Liter of water daily, trying to reduce water evaporation in all locations.

3. Returned the bubble magus curve 5 protein skimmer.
Reason: Too loud, noise is the number one deal breaker, bed is literally 10ft from the tank.

4. Installed Fiji Cube ARF-20 Automatic Roller System.
Reason: Convenience.

5. Relocated heating element and thermostat sensor, it will always have water.
Reason: Being more efficient with sump compartments.

Do you still have the Fiji-20 sump? If so, what skimmer are you running?

Yeap this build is an active working progress, and after swapping out the skimmer 3x, I've settled with the Ultra Reef Borei UKB-120.

Ill link a review from a user on this site, This thing is better built than a Reef Octopus IMO, and skims like a monster almost no break in period.

Working with Scott from Aquarium specialty is also helpful, when you call they answer and help you with any questions, and these are answers coming directly from the owners.

Edit: I would hold tight, if you go up in this thread Scott posted an update from Ultra Reef, they're releasing the 140 model which is something ill be upgrading to. Shoot if you don't mind a used skimmer I'll have mine for sale on here soon.

Hey everyone, it's been many months without an update. I just wanted to share my slow moving progress, I will have pics of my livestock up today as well.

If anyone has questions about anything, please feel free. I still have minor things to clean up, bit of painting and mounting.

For how very little my tank is stocked, I have noticed Alk & Cal are always low so I started dosing All For Reef.
No idea why, I only have a hand full of Zoas, and plates.

I dose Aminos, Phyto, and AFR currently on it's low stocked suggestion.

I do plan on adding one more piece of hydros and that will be the Maven.

I have the X10 inside the cabinet along with a 100AH BBU.
The Dose is located on the backside of the cabinet, it's not apart of the collective since I need to purchase another cable.

I wanted to give a shout out to a few companies and individuals who have assisted me with this build.

@SaltwaterAq has been extremely helpful and responsive when in need, they assisted with a delivery issue that was pretty stressful, while UPS was pretty uncooperative... The folks over at saltwateraqurium.com helped a ton, so they now have a life long customer here.

@AquariumSpecialty Ryan & Scott have been awesome and always answer the phone, and they're always willing to help, love you guys.

@ecotechmarine though they don't have an account here, I want to make sure they're mentioned. One of if not the largest company in the reefing world, they need to be appreciated for their attention to customers in need.
Their app makes it extremely easy to reach them, though the turn around time isn't instant, it's still in a timely manner for a company of their size, love you guys.

@CoralVue another company with no account here, I also want to make sure they're mentioned. They have blown me away with their products, they continue to target every single type of reefer at any stage they're in. Their forums is extremely helpful, you will find every answer you seek about their products in there. You can tell Hydros is made for reefers by reefers.
