Good morning R2R! I am in the process of setting up a new FOWLR tank. It is an 8' long, 24" deep, 30" tall acrylic tank. I already have 3 A360WE's set aside that I am not using currently. I know the coverage area says 24" by 24" but do you all think it would look okay on that setup? I don't plan on using a heavy amount of rock so that should help with light penetration. I will now be growing corals either.

I'll say personally I have 2 A360WE's over a 24*24*24 cube. It is a SPS dominate tank. So depending on what you are doing I do not believe it will be enough without a lot of shadowing. I realize it is fish only but shadows may be cast heavily by any rockscape or décor.

Forgot to mention, I do have 2 A160's I could add in there to help out but I'd rather have those reserved for another project.

You can light a fish only tank with 2 x 4ft LED shop lights from Home Depot for $50 each. Fish only tanks have almost no light demand beyond being able to see the fish well

If they're mounted 8" off the water, they should cast enough overlapping light to provide even coverage to the eye.

Yeah agreed but I do like the blue light and the ability to dim the light intensity towards the evening hours.
