I am starting to build a 300gallon peninsula setup with a small remote sump room and have a few problems in the planning stage. I am transitioning from a 210. I will not be placing any equipment under the tank but am utilizing an area beneath a stairwell and a 4.5ft 8.5ft closet. The area under the stairs will house water storage and mixing, the closet will have a sink, a 100 gallon sump, equipment, and the ac, dehumidifier, or mini split. The system is going into a walkout basement and I am trying to do a better job with temperature and humidity control with this system. I am debating if a dehumidifier will work alone but am worried about heat buildup in the small space. Another option is a small AC unit this would be another easy option. My third option is a split heat pump with heat, AC, ventilation and dehumidification a lot of work or an extra 1k for an install. If I do the split unit it will be more expensive and plan to install myself, would this be overkill. The walkout basement is 2400sq ft completely finished with AC and natural gas heat.

Any expert opinions appreciated, or if you have been there and done that

Did you install it yourself?I feel fine with the electrical and installation, it is just dealing with the refridgerant that I am clueless about. Don't care to pay $500 an hour for someone to hook it up.
