Working on a stock list for my 8' long 300 reef build. I'm thinking
3-5 yellow tang
Chevron
Kole
Hippo
Naso
I Really want an Achilles but I'm concerned about the aggressiveness. Maybe a small group of convict or a chocolate?

A school of anthias 7-10 (likely dispar) and a pair of sunburst. Pair of leopard wrasse, Christmas wrasse, solorensis and maybe a Scott's (but some coloration I love and some I don't). Was also thinking of a school of chromis for flashy movement, but not sure. What do you think so far?

So many chromis have Uronema these days. Looks nice but the risk is pretty high. Once the parasite is in the tank . . . the only way to get rid is sterilization. Yikes!
Maybe a nice group of wrasses instead?

I listed several wrasse that I would like to get maybe more? I certainly don't want to take any unnecessary risk with chromis if that is a legitimate problem. Maybe a school of lyretail anthias as well as the dispar?

Have dispar in my tank. Nice, good tankmate, color is rather subtle though. The lubbocks that it hangs around with is much nicer in color and a bit more active. Always thought it would be fun to introduce a big group of fairy wrasses all at once in a tank the size of yours. A big group :D

What about the tang list? Do you see any issues? What's your position on the Achilles?

That is one beautiful fish. You'll be kicking yourself for not trying one. Diet is crucial with them. Very often posting regards HLLE issues. And then there is the aggression issue as well. But man, they are beautiful.

Thanks for your input!
