Tank is mostly a fowlr. I Throw in a few random corals if I don’t have room in any of my other aquariums. Current list is as follows:

1. Naso tang
2. Desjardini tang
3. White tail tang
4. Powder blue tang
5. Regal tang
6. Queen angel
7. Niger trigger
8. Earmuff wrasse
9. Christmas wrasse
10. Yellow wrasse
11. Exquisite wrasse

Looking to add some anthias - thinking bimac, lyretail, Bartlett - maybe like 5-7 of one of these

What would you do? Or if you have another suggestion I’m all ears

I’ve briefly thought about butterflies but haven’t looked into them too much - I really like the Pakistan and raccoon - pearl scale would probably be my third option but I really don’t know much about butterflies

The Picasso is my number 2! He’s on the consideration list. Idk what it is about the Niger but I’ve always loved them and have kept one in all of my aquariums over the last 15 years. Even reef tanks they have done well for me

List looks good! I also have a 300 gallon FOWLR.

Also if you do look at some butterflys STAY AWAY from a kleini. That fish drove all my other fishes crazy. Constantly annoying them. Made my marine betta (who only hid in his cave) come out and chase him around the tank. Never seen him do that before! Horrid creatures those butterflies are! Never had an issue with other butterflies though

Curious with all those fish what type of filtration do you plan on running? The list looks great! Butterflies are fish i always wanted but i have coral. I think adding one would be neat.

If you are to go with anthias, I’d try to add them first so they can establish before the other fish. I’d also try to go with as many as possible to spread con specific aggression and also any chasing from the larger fish. Otherwise the list looks good!

That is a nice stocking list. I also have a 300G FOWLR. I'm restocking after a velvet wipeout.

My stocking list is as follows:
1) Asfur Angel (acquired)
2) Majestic Angel (acquired)
3) Juvi Emperor Angel (acquired)
4) Bueface Angel (one failed attempt, waiting on attempt two)
5) Regal Angel (two failed attempts, waiting on attempt three)
6) Aussie Harlequin Tusk (two failed attempts, waiting on attempt three)
7) Cuban Hogfish
8) Green Bird Wrasse (acquired)
9) Powder Blue Tang (acquired)
10) Blue Hippo Tang (acquired)
11) Purple Tang (acquired)
12) Desjardini Tang (acquired)
13) Blonde Naso Tang (acquired)
14) Pink Square Anthias Male (in QT)
15) Two Pink Square Anthias Female (in QT)
16) Tiny Clown Trigger (in QT)
17) Humu Humu Trigger (in QT)
18) Flame Angel (acquired)
19) Lemonpeel Angel (acquired)
20) Coarl Beauty Angel (acquired)
21) Ebili Angel (acquired)
22) Gold Stripe Maroon Clown (one failed attempt, waiting on attempt two)
23) Flame Hawk (waiting on first attempt)
24) Falcula Butterfly (waiting on first attempt)
25) Raccoon Butterfly (waiting on first attempt)
26) Semilarvartus Butterfly (waiting on first attempt)
27) Orangeback Fairy Wrasse (waiting on first attempt)
28) Zebra Eel (waiting on first attempt)

This is close to what I had previously when the aquarium was filled with life! I find that having a well-stocked aquarium is how I've had success with keeping multiple Tangs and Angels.

I love feeding heavy to keep down aggression, as a result, I focus on filtration. I have a fleece roller with 30 micron fleece, a Reef Octopus 250-EXT protein skimmer, an Aquamaxx TS-3 Sulfur Denitrator, two huge media reactors; one with 100oz of Purigen and the other for short-term media for spot issues, and a Weipro ET200 Ozone Generator.
