So i picked up a 24x24x12'' shallow cube and im curious as to what lighting and what filtration i should do. I may want it to grow some chalice frags, but i also want it to be scaped like a reef, including live rock but wanna try to get away with no sand??

The tank is not drilled so my options are hang on the back units or building some sort of silicon AIO system in the back? Is that possible?

As for lighting.... i have no clue lol.
I have a 24g Aquapod set up for years, and want to transfer the rock.

For a chalice dominated reef... One AI sol nano would work. You could also run 4x T5s if you hung them high enough.

What fish are you planning?
