32 gallon biocube led for rbta

Hi all,was wondering if the stock led on the coralife 32g led biocube would support an rbta.

Hmm. I have seen it done. I think tank age and rock scape may be equally important. Please let other more experienced reefers chime in.

I would say not. The general lighting guide for RBTA is 250 par. Based on the Biocube lighting the RBTA would have to stay in the top 4inches of the tank which would not provide enough room for growth. If you want to keep the hood nanobox or steve’s led upgrades are available for around $350. Otherwise you could remove the top and get another light.
