35g Sump for 150g Display?

I recently purchased a 150g display setup. The tank and stand are phenomenal. I was a little surprised at the size of the sump. It looks to be 35g (36x15x15). I am planning a fairly simple setup. Am I setting myself up for trouble with this ratio? I believe it will accommodate the volume in a power outage situation. Any input is appreciated.

I just drained and overhauled my 150-gallon FOWLR tank (which had be running about 5 years) and decided to measure the water volume held by my sump-- it had been so many years, I had forgotten. There is 27-gallons of sump water, with enough empty capacity so that when the power goes out, what back flows into the sump from the tank can be accommodated without overflowing. Should be fine. I ran a 40 breeder on my 120 with no baffles.
Skimmer, carx, media reactor worked well.

As long as you set it up where it won't overflow during an outage it'll work just fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I read so many threads that focus on "biggest is best" for sumps I didn't want to set myself up for failure.

My current ext 170 has a 70+g sump. My level in the sump equates to around 25g's with plenty of room when the power is off.
Like others have said just make sure the sump holds all the water when the system is turned off and you can use any size sump you want.
Also, deciding what you want in the sump helps determine the size and layout needed.
