So I made this sump to go under my 75 gallon tank. Size is 16x39 approx and will hold 2 of your 4" filter socks. Then I went and bought a newer 250 gallon tank and decided to build a different sump. So I am selling this home made sump for $300. I got over $200 in materials and something similar would cost you over $500. I really really do not want to ship this so Pittsburgh PA area is where I am located.

Although a heck of a drive for me, I'm in the market for a sump..... so, What are the over-all dimensions on it?

Thanks.

Very interested! Is the skimmer section setup to be adjustable? I am fairly new, so I am trying to piece together the details from the photos.....

What zip code? Want to get a rough idea on the drive. Thanks

Wholly Crap.. That's some nice work!

Yep..... If he were about 45 minutes closer to me, I would probably return the sump I ordered that hasn't even been delivered yet! This thing looks quality.

EDIT: You should try to get this from the trading forum to the selling forum.... probably more eyes there.

It looks to me like a shelf where you could drop a bag of filter media, sponge filter, floss, etc. as a last pass before returning to the tank. Water would spill over the top of the adjustable level bulkhead, through whatever filter media, then up under the next bulkhead to the return pump.

Beautiful work Carz. Any chance I can get a skimmer section footprint size?

If I had more patience (which is never enough for this hobby I know) I would probably make the trip east, and try to convince him to custom-make me a 60-70" sump.

That makes a lot more sense

Only if you weren’t 5.5 hrs away from me as I’m getting ready to build a 40 gal breeder sump
