3D printable Bulkhead Tool

Here is a handy tool for all of you 3D printer guys. It is good for hold back for 1 5/16 ( 1.5 ) and 2 inch bulkhead fitting. Not clear in picture

but is offset.

I have one of the Bambu A1's. Incredible printers for the price. They are very easy to setup and use. I was printing off of mine within an hour of setting it up. Now? I use it almost every day just printing all types of stuff. They go on sale often so if you are in the market for one I would recommend one of those. They sell another one called the A1-mini which is the same as the A1 just smaller and is cheaper.

Hi so I looked it up. Reasonable but I see lots of add on stuff including enclosures. What else should I consider if you have time to answer.

With the A1 all I have is the a1 and the ams lite unit. The ams allows you to print up to 4 colors at once. You don’t need enclosures with an A1. Enclosures allow you house more temperature which is needed for higher grade filaments such as abs. The A1 allows you to petg, tpu, pla and pva. If you have anymore questions I’ll be happy to answer them!

I also have the smooth plate and texture plate. The printer comes with the texture but the smooth is up to you if you want it. All that does it gives you a smoother bottom on your prints.

If I can get the full specs of every cm of that tool I can draw it up in cad under a .dwg file. And it can be transferred by the 3d printer system to a .stl file easily.

So here you are. Personally if I was to build a Tank over again as I mentioned in another thread . Maybe Randy Holmes , I would put bulkheads on with tank laying on its side , and then carefully lift into place as opposed to laying on your side or back, and doing it . Easily not going to get a nice seal. So the pictures show a handy hold back tool. Also from an idea I stole maybe make a socket so you can work on your side. Not knowing the strength of the plastic material I suggest making the thickness the focal point as opposed to width of the open tool. Also as I suggested the angled part longer to give more purchase

Nope I can with with both no problem. I’m state side, and I’m actually an architect haha. So all of it makes sense. Give me a few days and I will have a dwg to convert.
