3rd try at a clam..

This times different I swear. First 2 clams were maxima and squamosa. Both under 3”. This new one my wifey got me is GORGEOUS and HUGE! 5”+!! My tank is a bit more mature now at 6months and I have Sps doing fine so I’m praying I can keep this one healthy and happy. Does anyone have any tips for best chance of happiness? I have the clam mounted as close to the light as possible and my AI Primes are running max intensity. Is it really dangerous if my nitrates are 10-20?

I have had better luck with 30 minute fresh water dips when I first add them to avoid pinched mantle issues.
I’m not sure how tolerant they are with nitrates?
