Theoretical Reef Keeper
I never look at my profile. When I come on, I get right down to business. For some reason, my eye was drawn to my account photo, and then I noticed the date of my membership.
I can't believe I'm coming up on 4 years with Reef2Reef! It feels like only yesterday, I was debating on becoming a member after lurking around for a month or so.
As we all know, this hobby can get expensive. And I have done some spending since I became a member here. But I will say this; of all the money I've spent in this hobby, my subscription here is the best money I've spent.
I think about how little I knew when I started here, along with the complete and utter inadequacies of my system when I first arrived. And how my builds have evolved, from my stands, to learning how to drill glass, plumbing with PVC, electrical wiring in wet environments, the physics of lighting. And water chemistry... I've never known a time when my tank chemistry was more stable, than the time I've been here.
And I've finally evolved from tanks that survive to tanks that thrive. And I do mean it when I say I owe it to my subscription here.
The library of information here, along with thread conversations specific to my question provided me with tailored solutions.
I have been on many other sites before landing on Reef2Reef. And I believe that some of the brightest minds in the hobby are right here.
So I thank you for all the help over the years which has let me enjoy success in the hobby.
