Not sure. Know they have a 35 gallon cube that is 24x24x12. Not sure about in between those two sizes. Sorry. Good luck.

Thanks guys! As far as convincing your parents of the 60 gallon. Describe it to them in dimensions. 60 gallons sounds a lot bigger than 40 gallons, but if it is only 4-8 inches wider and longer then it doesn't sound so bad. Good Luck!

My current tank. :) excuse the quality. And it's more maintenance for the tank, I'm busy with highschool and am applying for a job so I'm worried about time to care for it. Is it easy to care for?

Marineland has a 45 gallon cube. I'm in high school as well, so I know how you feel :) It's not too bad. You could automate the tank or make it simple. I'm doing the latter with mine. Your current tank looks really nice :)

Seriously .. Deep Blue's are garbage. I have an 80g Rimless from them and threw them in the garbage. Considering bulkheads are the difference between dozens of water on your floor when you get home, to your tank running well 24/7 .. why skimp? You can get Grade A bulkheads for <$20 for the 2 you need (1 drain/1 return). The PVC pipe that is included with the kit is fine to use - bulkheads, don't trust them. Their seals suck, don't risk it - your parents will kill you the day they fail. lol

Eh, I find Marineland to be of higher quality. In my experience, Deep Blue's quality is lacking in some areas. (Staples are going through on my stand for my 80g, screws weren't drilled in, scratches on the stand, chips - and this was all from the factory like this because it was sealed very good). Their tanks, as I said, crappy bulkheads, the and the black frame was actually all scuffed up on my 80g.
But, for the price, can't beat it! Doing a tank on a budget, definitely go Deep Blue.
My old 30g Cube was a 20x18 footprint, so really, the 60g cube isn't that much more. If you have space for a 2 feet by 2 feet tank (and enough room to get on your hands and knees to access the sump), then you should be good to go. Larger tanks are easier to be more stable.

But, maybe your LFS can get it for you for less. As I said, my LFS got it for my father for around $250, and I picked up my 80g tank (48x24) for like $350.
In regards to the bulkheads, they can work for people .. I got them working on the 60g cube after they leaked for a few days, but, running a club here in NY, I've talked to numerous people with these tanks, and sponsors who sell these tanks - and they all say the same thing - lowest quality bulkheads you can get, don't take the chance with them. Again, can they work? Sure .. but if I can help myself to not coming home to a bad surprise for a little money, then I'll definitely do just that.

In the overflow, there are 2 holes in the bottom of the glass (one for your drain, one for your return). The bulkheads are what seals those holes from water draining - and to connect the pipes.
This is an example - the piece of glass would be considered the bottom of your tank in the overflow section...

You just unscrew them and put new ones in. I would buy threaded bulkheads so you can unscrew the PVC instead of having to cut it out if you ever need to move the tank.
The number of fish you want depends on the fish you were looking for. I'm putting a Clownfish pair, a Chalk Bass, and a Midas Blenny in my 45 cube, but that's a light bioload for a tank that size. Just post what fish you would be interested in and we can help you pick out the ones that would work :)

Not really easy to replace once the tank is going - that becomes quite a hassle after everything is plumbed - especially if you do hard plumbing. This is why it is best to get quality bulkheads right from the bat.
Number of fish depends on what type of fish. If you want bigger fish like tangs, I'd only recommend like a Kole Tang. My father has a Firefish, Yellow Goby, Mandarin, Kole Tang and will be getting a Wrasse in his cube.
I used flexible PVC, so, I'm using slip bulkheads.
