I was curios on what dimension you would make your chambers in your AIO 40 breeder. This is a pic of my DIY AIO 40 breeder. I made the chambers 4 and half inches wide to fit a 4 inch sock filter.

With a 40b I like that it is deeper than it is tall so I would want to keep that depth. I would go peninsula style to the left sized to the components I'm using.

I'm planning on upgrading my aio 40 gallon breeder and start up a new build thread. But does anyone have any suggestions on a rimless 4 to 5 feet long tank? By the way my 40 breeder has been up for 7 years.

If you're handy at all, building a rimless tank is pretty easy. Source your glass, only constrained by your imagination.

Just in case if anyone was curious about the stand. Its just a petco stand where I cut some thin plywood and created my shelves. I keep my auto top off container inside. I also used magnets to hold the pieces of plywood, so I could chnage them out later to fit different styles or seasons. It's also a good child proof system. No handles.

So, I am finally getting control of the hair alage. I'm thinking of starting two part dosing. What product would recommend and is a dosing pump worth it? Which dosing pump would you use?

So, I have decided I am going to start dosing my tank. These are the products I've decided to use at first. But I plan on trying out seachem next. Let me know what you think. Also, if all goes good I will probably get a dosing pump.

Heck out the new frag tank I’m putting together. My tank is getting a little wild so it is time to frag. It’s a jbj desktop aquarium. I am currently modifying the filter.
