Hey friends,
I recently took advantage of petco's tank sale and pickef up a 40 breeder. I've wanted one for a long time. Love the dimensions. No idea why I didn't get one sooner. All the livestock was transfered over from a larger, established tank. For most of the last year, my tank was a 68 gallon half moon by aquavim. I absolutely hated owning it. It was super uncomfortable to work on and suffered some neglect as a result.
I'm using a petco metal stand for the tank. I built a PVC overflow and am running a skimz up22 sump with a reef octopus skimmer and a jebao dc return pump. Flow is handled by an oversized jebao wavemaker that I plan on swapping with something more appropriately sized. Lights are three AI Prime HDs. Love these lights.
Lots of flower nems and lps in the tank. Thems my faves. Also a white spot puffer, red firefish, orchid dottyback, and a pair of yellow clown gobies. Planning on adding some red stoplight cardinals. Really pleased with the tank as it is, but looking forward to things growing out.
