Use RO/DI water

Yeah I have an RO/DI set up that runs into a 45g brute. So water isn't a problem. I'm just now starting to get diatoms, and the zoas I put in the tank have a small amount of red slime algae on em and it's not seeming to go away...

As long as your nitrates and phosphates are down the diatoms and red slime algae will go away

I tested nitrates today after my water change and they were 5ppm. I haven't checked phosphate.
