40g Breeder Build (getting back into the hobby)

Picked up a 40g breeder during petco $1 a gallon sale for the main tank.
The sump is going to be a 20g long that i also picked up during $1 a gallon sale.
I plan to drill the tank myself.

Equipment:
2 Jabao rw-4's synced
Bubble magus curve 5 Skimmer (bought)
Ebay Overflow (bought)
Ebay 165watt full spectrum x2
custom stand(in progress)

I will try to update the thread as often as i can and when equipment arrives

it was waterproof silicone i don't know what brand

Well finished up my stand today its not the greatest but it works i don't have a lot of wood working tools since i do a lot of automotive work

Alright a little update
today i ordered
40# of BRS reefsaver dry rock
2 jabao rw-4's

40lbs of Bahamas Oolite arag-alive live sand
GEORG FISCHER WYE CHECK VALVE 1"
and a 300watt heater
hopefully ill have the tank up and going in a couple weeks!

Thanks iv forgotten a little bit about the hobby so i have a little reading and what not to do planning on letting the tank sit and cycle for about a month

so a little change to the sump i have decided to remove the acrylic baffles and have a local glass shop cut me glass pieces. i water tested the sump and noticed a little flex not a lot but enough to bother me so might as well just solve the issue before the tank is fully setup

Nice skimmer kinda looking like inside our stand lol. We have a petco $ a gallon sale 29g I made into sump and use a bubble magus Nac 6 skimmer ;). Got the starting of a nice setup going.

Love 40b dimensions. Make sure the silicone your use does not include a mold inhibitor.
