40g breeder sps dominant

Following. I love my 40 gallon breeder. Best small tank ever. Possibilities are endless.

Update —

Been traveling for work a lot and the tank has been neglected a bit, refugium went into overdrive and stripped out all my nitrates. I removed a lot of the cheato ,upped my ammonia dose and reduce the time the refugium light is on. Regardless a lot of the acros have been growing well, I will update the thread when I get some good pictures.

I also recently purchased from fraghouse to fill in all the gaps where my beautiful tenuis once was so I’ll include pictures of those aswell.
Glad to hear your acros are doing well!

Update —

I bought a house! The move was awful and a lot of my acros that had turned into 3-4” mini colonies got crushed, along with my digi colony which I ended up selling all the frags to my lfs for $150! I’ve been in the new house a month now and lost 2 acros, some of the remaining colonies are starting to stn from the base up, tested my n and p last night and I had .75 for phosphate and 75 for nitrate! The funny thing is the two corals that are stn were my steady growers and all the others that haven’t grown for about a year are now growing. With the high nutrients has come green cyano which is unsightly but doesn’t seem to be bothering anything. My plan is to let it drop slowly, I figure the spike is from stirring everything up during the move. I’ll drop some pictures in later this evening.

Moving is such a pain! But it should be all downhill from here!

@Justfebreezeit - such a dang nightmare, I agree though, the hard part is over!

Here’s the tank in its new spot, plus some crumby pictures of the good and bad going on in the tank right now. The stn has stopped and the effected colonies should recover, I’ll just leave them be. The green cyano isnt getting better (these pictures were taken after a cleaning) either way chugging along well, good alk consumption! I think within a month things should settle.
