I also have the JBJ 45. I think I am going to stay away from an angel

A Valentini Puffer would be a good choice if you don't have any small invertebrates and want something unique. They have really nice contrasting color and the classic friendly puffer fish personality so they act like little dogs. Sometimes you can even train them to spit water out of the top to beg for food.

IMO no tank’s complete without an Angelfish even if they aren’t entirely reef safe. I agree with Coral Beauty, Flame, Flameback or Cherub. Flames are occasionally captive bred but you can get a captive bred Coral Beauty or Flameback relatively easily. Other than that, agree with a Basslet. Royal Gramma, Black Cap, or Liopropoma. RG and BC available captive bred. Yellow Assessor is underrated and available captive bred.
