Beautiful fish! I've always considered a tomini tang, but never followed through. The orchid dottyback really is a showpiece too! How long has the tank been up? Smart move on the mat in front of the tank.

Thank you :) Tank has been up since 2020, it was relocated and upgraded 5 months ago. I added a picture of the original set up before the move to this post.

Is that a hang on the back refugium? I saw it on one of the other pictures too, but it's unfamiliar to me.
That's our overflow box for the sump. We used to keep shells in it for our own amusement, and partially to prevent a fish from getting pulled into the back.

Looks good.
I'm always surprised when I see unpainted back glass but I guess that's a preference thing.

Lookup how to make this your "Build Thread" -- easy to do but don't remember off the top of my head.

Third molt in 5 months for our fire shrimp, and it's still mostly intact. The maxima clam is the newest edition as of yesterday, we're already obsessed. Tips for care are welcome :)

Have you checked out the camera filters you can buy to clip onto your phone? They're pretty inexpensive. I enjoy taking pictures of my tank too and it really takes it to another level by removing the flood of blue in your photos... Careful though. This really got me into nature photography... These hobbies are slippery slopes.

Has anyone ever had a pair of clowns host this aggressively? We believe she has killed three BTA'S and a long tentacle from stressing them out.

Recently got to add a long nose hawkish and tuxedo urchin to the tank. Urchin is the size of a dime! Can't wait to watch these two grow with the tank. Still holding out for a gobby and pistol shrimp pair.
