Congratulations! What a cute little reefer.
I think the tank is fine and the coral in the pictures look good.
Thank you he's a blessing.

Everythings filling in nicely.

Recently have gotten about 10 frags all for average $20 a pop including all the SPS. Nice deals shopping around.

new frags coloring up good, some encrusting. Just gotta keep at it this time and not let stuff go so I can actually grow these colonies out for once.

I had a super random alk swing 10-11 days ago where it went from 10 to 6.5 in about 2 days.... I'm not sure what caused that, but it ticked off my torch, and 2 nems really bad. Calc was 440 and mg was 1380 was just that alk.

SPS didn't seem to care? was weird.

Torch is finally happy again. He was deflated for about 7 days with the swing down and then the dosing back up. Overdid a little sitting at 10.6 but that's fine.

Ha. Never really noticed it until now, but funny to see the contrast in the rock from my existing old scape on the left, to the re-scape and new rock I added on the right side.

Kind cool.

Not quite a year. But close enough for celebration!

But My birthday was yesterday so I got 5 more frags.

Glad I didn't end up throwing the towel in on this guy. It was just so hard initially to keep up with the maintenance with everything going on.

But I've got it down pat now so it's running like a greased machine. Everything is showing growth now and looks like 1 year from now I should have some nice sized colonies :). (As long as I keep on top of things lollll, cross my fingers no more crazy life events).

Here's my new celebration frags an FTS :). Happy Birthday to me and my tank.

This is why I really love keeping my build thread.

So I can look back at how long ago stuff really was.

Only 2 weeks and 1 day. This is pretty awesome growth for me at least. Happy to see it. Coloration dimmed down a little. Might pump the blues more once it grows out, but for now I'm focusing on growth so gotta keep those whites up.

I honestly had no plans for this.....

But for whatever reason I was sitting on my computer... and I wondered "how much are walt disney's going for anyway"

I honestly didn't even have a fledgling of a thought that some coral vendors were having "Labor Day sales"

Ebay showed me a live sale ending for a Walt Disney at $0.99 in 1 hour from a vendor I'd honestly never heard of, so I hoped if I hadn't probably 50% of reefers hadn't either and I could get it for a low price.

AJ's Corals in Florida.

I didn't win it for quite that but I won't tell you what I won it for ;-), cuz you'll still be mad. I actually got 2 Walt disneys :x for pennies lol.

Anyway....

Between them and @WWC the eBay auction wars was on.... I think I sat there for about 2-3 straight hours watching hundreds of sales til the last second...

I knew I had gone a little overboard when Ebay said "These Vendors have applied a restriction to buying more than 25 Items from them as a Vendor in 1 day"

But Oh well.

All in all every frag here total'd up cost me less than $20 a Frag.... So in my mind... it was all worth it...

Lets just say my frag buying for the rest of the year is done.

Sorry for the yellow water. I just added them all and dosed a little extra AB+ and fed phyto + the fishies, since I'm planning a 30% WC tomorrow wanted to get it all done and out of the way now.

I'll edit and add a few more photos later when they fully open up and the water clears :).

My ultimate plans involve setting up a Frag grow out tank within 3-4 months, and using them as currency to support my dumb obsession :).

Long story short I had my first born.

Life went to hell, and unfortunately so did my tank, this AIO has required so much TLC to be stable it's frustrating. I was trying to transfer and switch over everything over to a 75G but the seam busted after I got it up and filled 2 weeks later .... :(:(:(

So I decided to just put energy back into this guy to make it lower maintenance.

I finally got my dosing system back up and running, changed over to a 15G ATO reservoir instead of 5G and I think now we're back in action.

MY Baby boy loves my tank as well, He's 3 months and teething early. Is a big boy! was born 9lbs 1oz, and now he's 17.5! :O

So it's hard to hold him in front of the tank for more than twenty minutes or so, but we both love it! It's one of only 3-4 things that make him stop crying from teething instantly :).

Here's some updates, tanks a little dirty just cleaned the glass.
