i currently have a ati 6 bulb sunpower with the center 2 bulbs taken out with 6 clusters of leds over a 48x24x16. The fixture is about 17" wide. i would like to upgrade to either a 60x30x20 preferably or a 48x30x20. would this 48" fixture be sufficient coverage for a 60" tank prominently sps tank or would i have to get a larger fixture?

I run a 60 over a 6o with the fixture 7 in above the waterline..sps dominant, and it does well,it would probably depend how high you place the fixture to get the spread to cover.I can grow sps from top to bottom, you may only get the necessary par near the top

That’s what I’m thinking. I might get by but not have much flexibility when it comes to placement of Sps

would that 48" 6 bulb fixture have enough coverage for a 48x30x20 tank?!?!
