50 Cube sumpless

Get everyone in going to go against the grain here. Ive got a 50 cube that was just given to me. The glass is a bit hazy but not bad when wet. I've got all hob equipment. I've got about 40# of special grade sand and 10# of granite mixed in. Around 40# of reef saver rock from brs. Tank is up and running but thinking about redoing the scape already lol. I don't have a fish store within 180 miles of me. But life has me travling this weekend so I'm looking at getting some stock to start running through QT.

So again it's a 50 cube in assuming it would be stocked a bit different then a standard 55 obviously the 5 gallon difference but the major thing would be length? However I like a community tank with lots of activity. Only going to house some shrooms and softies.

Equipment is as follows:
Skimmer - skimz sh2
Light - Mars aqua
Power head - Jebao ow-25
Heater - 150w said in
Penguin 350
Also going to run a cheto reactor

My stocking list is looking like this:

Option 1: 1-long nose hawk fish
1-yellow coris wrass e
1-talbort damsel
1-springer damsel
1-Benny tailspot maybe (not sure on this)
3-zebra dartfish

Option 2: 1-Dwarf Angel
2-Clowns
1-Benny again unsure of type
1-firefish
Any other suggestions

Option 3: 1-Flasher wrass e
1-Fairy Wrasse
3-zebra dartfish
Again any suggestion would be great

So I completly changed the scape. Added a ton more hiding holes and caves. Tank finished cycling ended up going out of town and bought 2 zebra bar gobies. I wanted 3 but all they had was 2. Ill hopefully post some pics withen the comming days.

Hey everyone help me light this tank. It's going to be lps mainly. I've got a black box above it. It lights the tank it just doesn't make the corals pop. I really like the radion gen 5 but that's alittle up thereon my price range. Is there anything around the 250ish range.

Just came by. Looks great. I saw you were looking towards more soft coral. I may have missed it but what are the dimensions of the cube. I would think there are lots of options for lights less $$$ than the g5. Just need to address the depth of the cube

All right so have had some major changes.

First update corals corlas corals. I have added a nice gsp island, a 7 headed duncan, a 6 headed purple tipped hammer? (Not sure of actual name), a 6 headed hammer (regular nothing special), a torch with about 8 heads and what I believe is a hulk acan. With all of these additions I have tested and found that I am dropping about 1.1 dkh per week. Calcium is staying fairly steady only droping about 20 per week. (From what I've read there is no "ratio" of dkh to calcium consumption.

Second Is equipment. I'm ditching the old mars aqua (like first gen mars aqua) I'd that's even a thing lol but I'm getting a radion g5. Now this is m first "top of the line" piece of equipment so I am very excited to get this set up.

Next is flow. I currently have a hydor pump rated for 2700gph full bore no wave making capabilities it's Abit much for my tank but it really keeps the detritus suspended. I'm swapping this hydor for a aqamai kps. I'm really excited to get this pump in and give it a go.

I'll hopefully post some pics later this week of before and after shots with the black box be the radion!

Its kind of hard. I love it but this is also my first high end light. So anything is really an upgrade from the black boxes.

As far as setup went the app is alittle hard time figure out imo. I'm using a preset templete for the moment that is specifically for lps/softies. So I went to that templete just to a guess and set the intensity to about 40% checked par levels and had a VERY even 125-140 par. I did a 9 point grid when I tested for par. Set I to acclimation mode for 30 days and was done. It's power full like I said 40% and I was getting 125 par at the sand bed through 22" of water. The blend is awesome aswell especially since you don't have to buy a diffuser.

So I tested about a month ago and for 2 weeks in a row I dropped 1.1 dkh now my dkh isn't dropping at all during a week long span why is this

I did it! I did it! I upgraded from my jebao and aquami powerheads! I got 2 mp40s now I know this is probably wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy overkill but I got the pair for a steal of a price. Can anyone give me some insight on these pumps? I'm thinking random lagoon? I think the reef creast could get pretty wild in such a small tank. Looking at my rock work what do you think best placement would be? I'm thinking back wall opposite side of the hammers and torch and then on the side wall closest to the hammers and torch.
