54 Corner Aquarium Equipment needed

I inherited a 54 corner I believe it to be aqueon, and I need a glass top. Also, I have a Kessil AP700 that would like arms for. Neither Kessil or Aqueon have these items, where can I go other than a custom glass cutter, and ? for the light. At the moment, I have it rigged with fishing line on a make shift hood, that my little brother made.

Most of the big box 'reef' stores carry the mounting arms for the Kessil AP700. I would not trust fishing line to hold that light over the tank. In my opinion you are asking for a disaster, not if, but when it happens.

There are several aftermarket light mounts made of aluminum extrusion/etc, do a quick Google search, I believe there will be an option small enough to rest on the tank top!

Alternatively, have you considered a light canopy over the tank to mount your lighting inside?

As far as lids, a corner tank can be tough to get them for if it’s glass… you can build your own out of aluminum screen door extrusion and clear plastic mesh, or companies such as Kraken do make custom polycarbonate and clear mesh lids to order!
