Ryan at Reefcreators made the ATO, Dosing containers and Locker. Vincent Riech at Evolution Aquatics made the dual sumps.

Budman, I was thinking of programming in some hysterias for the float, however in watching the locker, skimate is trickling in slow enough that there is no noticeable bounce. I have yet to see the skimmers cycle. However adding it for safe measure is simple enough.

This is one insane reef setup you got! With the krylon spray paint for the pipes, you not worried about it leaching some how into your system? Or is it marine safe?

The Krylon is reef safe, people have been painting their pipes and returns in the tanks with Krylon for 20 years. :)

Only coral I handle with gloves is the hydnophora. Got stung more than a couple times by it. Fingers swell up a good bit.

Awesome build! I am also using a DC12000 to run my 150 display with the sump in a basement so I end up with about 8' of lift. I have been running it for about a year with no problems. It has been a great savings on my electrical bill over the PondMaster 2400 I started with.

I got the dc9000. It says it's rated for 14ft of head, and I was planning on putting the sump in the basement as well. Just wondering what setting your using on your pump. How hard you running it? I'll have about 10ft of head. So not sure if it will be good!

Stand is done!!

Sump is 94" leaving 1" on each end. Using 2x 3/4 Baltic Birch Plywood sheets to support the bottom of the tank. Glued together and pressed flat on the stand.

Moving stand into the house next weekend. Have to take the double sliding doors out, smallest dimension is 42". Tank the week after. Then a week to fill with water, need almost 800g and RO is 100GPD. Then move corals and rock over the week after. So a little less than 30 days to get everything up and running.

Added adjustable feet. 3/4" steel net welded inside with 3/4 threaded stock and 3/4" adjusting nut on the outside with 3" pads. Adding 3" polymer sliders to the bottoms of the slides to make adjusting easier.

I am running it at full strength. I think it may lose more power from head pressure than an AC pump. and I am also running 1 wp40 and 1 wp60. I would like 1 or 2 more smaller wave maker type pumps to move water more lower in the tank.

The DCT12000 is not much more than the DCT9000, I would step up if putting it in the basement you can always dial it down since it's a DC pump. Better to have a little too much, then too little.

Only a 65 gallon display. 4ft long. So I'm thinking I might be okay?

It would not fit with out cutting your case and getting a new larger piece of glass. The board is just shy of 16x8" I have done a couple D120 style lights, not real hard to cut and glass is $3 at Home Depot, but that being said, not everyone is comfortable cutting up their light. :)
