Any of you 60 gal cube owners using one of the Gyres in your DT? Wondering if it's too much flow/how it's working. Planning on a custom rimless 60 cube build from miracles and glass is going to be 1/2" thick which is too thick for vortex. Any reviews from your systems?

Do you like it? Is it worth the $$$? How about the flow do you find it to work as described in the videos? Does the stream spread out as it travels across the tank, and does it really push the water back through the tank?

I just run one gyre horizontal on the center brace of my 60 cube. Works fine with the return.

That's sort of what I was thinking of doing. Going rimless with a center overflow, and just placing it on an opposite wall from the over flow to get more turbulance.

I've got the 130 in my 60 cube and I have to have it dialed down to about 50%.

My 150 is at 50%(had it at 60 but that's a little much) on my 5x2x2 foot tank. A 130 for your cube should be just right I don't think I'll ever regret mine. I run to on my frag tank top never had issues.
