I just discovered I have a 1920 gph mag pump, too. It's really noisy so I'm using it outside for business purposes. If I could find a way to dampen the noise it would satisfy a lot of my flow requirements. Then I could split the both the 1" AND the 1/2" returns in two for a total of four outputs.
You know any tricks to make a pump quieter?

I notice if I just float the pump about an inch from the button of the glass with flex tube it will bring the noise down by a lot. The just secure the pvc at the top to the frame for support.

Most of the noise come from the glass
