6ft 180g Stock Pondering, Input Requested

My husband gave his blessing on moving from a 40g to a 180g and I'm now weighting my options on stocking. I'll be migrating the current fish over:
[2] Percula Clownfish
[1] Watchman + Pistol Shrimp
[1] Orchid Dottyback
[1] Six-line wrasse

His only fish request is a Hippo Tang which I want to make the center piece.

What I've been looking into and considering is:
[1] Hippo tang
[1] Leopard Wrasse
[1] Tailspot Blenny
[x] A lot of Talbot Damsels to occupy the water column, without drawing eyes away from the tang and the tank won't be too busy. I just don 't know how many would be realistic. I was thinking around 7. I'm open to other damsel suggestions, but would like it to be a mono group.
[1] On the table is a snowflake eel that I would make tunnel systems/caves for. We're not sold on it just yet, but would love to house one.

This is the early stage of the pondering but open to others stocking advice. The goal is to not have a busy looking tank where every fish is bursting with color so the eyes are drawn to the hippo tang. I would like another wrasse, but not sure which would be best. Been sliding toward a Christmas wrasse or pairing up the six-line. Possibly a cleaner wrasse.

The tank won't be a thing for a year or so, but I want to start designing the rockscape and flow with the fish in mind. Which, currently, would have one side with heavy rock coverage that transitions to a sand bed with islands and an open water column.

I like it, sort of. I started a tank with 3 or 4 Talbots, and in the end I had a pair, they bred faithfully until they got into a fight and now I have one. One, is "One Eye", because this feisty fish fought with everything I ever put in the tank. HE (probably-she?) lost an eye back when there were 4 damsels, and still maintained dominance over the other Talbots, purple tang, foxface, and others who have swam in that tank over time.

I don't know if others have luck keeping shoals of Talbots in the same tank, but It didn't work well for me.

Yeah I've been reading folks experiences with damsels. Most seem to keep 4, I haven't seen many give their experiences with 8ish. my thought process is that with more, the aggression will be widely spread out.
