Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum so I'm adding my tank profile. I started reefing in 2012 with a 20 gallon, moved up to a 40 gallon and then moved down to a 7.5 gallon!! I love my little tank. I set this one up in march of 2014 so it's almost a year old. It's gone through two moves since then and had it's problems but I'm getting great growth from my coral so I'll take it.

Tank stats:
7.5 gallon deep blue rimless tank
HOB marineland filter - in this I was using gfo, purigen, and polypads to combat my phosphates but I think I'm going to try other methods... Maybe a protien skimmer? 0_o (I had a diy one that worked great but I broke it.)
Koralia nano powerheads 1. 250 and 1. 440---I like flow
75 watt jäger heater
NANOBOX mini tide :):):) (this is a recent addition)

Inhabitants:
1 pompom crab
1 sexy shrimp
1 ORA White Spotted Pygmy Filefish
3 Astraea snail
2 nassarius snails
Previously flatworms but the filefish has been eating them :)

Corals:
Trumpet coral
Superman monti
Undata monti
ORA bellina acro
Tricolor?
ORA mint pavona
Favia
Various other things I don't have ids for.

FTS from Dec 2014

What light are you using.

Hiya! I wrote up top but I'm using a nanobox mini tide. It's amazing. I'm finally getting color in stuff that lost color under my gu10s.

This is before (and also from July so 6 months of growth from then to now)

And this is now

I've had the light on for roughly two weeks and I'm getting more heavy dark like the brown and more intense greens.
