7.5g deep blue rimless

thanks a lot. i wanted this guy or a wheeler shrimp goby. think those 2 have the most color out of the goby family. the tiger shrimp hopefully found himself a home. he dug around for a good week before hopefully fingers crossed knock on wood he found this hole.
when in groups do they swim in the open more. mine seems to be in with the shrimp most of the time.

I have found that when you have a tiger pistol shrimp the gobies hide more even though the symbiotic relationship is cool to watch. My father has owned a fish store for close to 40 years so I have seen a lot come through the shop. Haha. Recently a saw a tank with a shrimp and three gobies and all the gobies went in the hole. However the shrimp made the hole in the front of the tank so it was interesting to see the tunnels it made. In my 75 gallon at home I have this large rock at the base of my reef that makes sort of a cave. They seem to swim in about a group of four at the entrance to it. At feeding time they will definitely come out in the tank and swim around in pairs. I also love watching them grab rock by rock as they make tunnels back under the cave. Normally once they get established to a tank they tend to stay out swimming near their hole/cave and if you scare them or a big fish comes by they dart back in the hole and then pop out when the coast is clear. :D

Here is a photo I just took with 3 of them that are out swimming this morning in front of their cave. :D

Those are some cool fish!

So I saw 3 of my Hi-Fin Banded Gobies schooling today in the corner of my tank and I quick took a video of them thinking of you and your tank. Now that I have my Powder Blue Tang out because he had ick these gobies are roaming all over the tank in little groups. Definitely worth setting up a tank with a little school of them! :D

candy canes has really good extension.

thanks. they truely did. the best i've seen from any candy canes.

update i sold or traded the shrimp for a nice chalice. the goby didn't make it thru my 3 day vacation and didn't see him when i got back. also picked up a nice BGM chalice and a frag of pink rhinos which are pretty sweet piece. it great to actually be able to see my tank w/o the snow. lol pics are to come here shortly.

well, did some work on the tank today. got everything moved over to the big 4'x2' custom stand. so now there's the nano and the 30g breeder sitting up high. going to reprogram the apex for the nano and just hooked up the tunze ato so no more bring water over there daily. it'll become bi monthly probably. also hung the lights down a lil lower so i'm not using so much intensity. i'm going to probably glue everything down here in the next couple of days to start the grow out. i'll get some newer pics tonight or tomorrow. i think it looks better now. i can see more of the tank which means more coral placement. lol

Nice!
