Anyone else seen a linckia starfish, with an abnormal amount of legs.

It consumes biofilm...thats not exactly a type of algae, although algae does make up a portion of biofilm. Its not sustainable beyond a few months (time until starvation).
What do I feed it if the tank runs out of biofilm algae?
Itll likely starve to death. Try to create an artificial biofilm with one of the Zeovit products (I forgot which it is)...you can try anything but if tgis species primarily consumes biofilm thats your best bet imo
