Two daysIt's a mutant starfish!! That is pretty cool!
How long have you had it?
I don't think it's a luidia.Are you sure its a Red Linckia, never seen one with that patterning before?
Could be a Luidia type instead?
@ISpeakForTheSeas

It eats biofilm algae.what does it eat
Are you sure?It eats biofilm algae.
can I see the blue one.
It consumes biofilm...thats not exactly a type of algae, although algae does make up a portion of biofilm. Its not sustainable beyond a few months (time until starvation).Are you sure?It eats biofilm algae.
What do I feed it if the tank runs out of biofilm algae?It consumes biofilm...thats not exactly a type of algae, although algae does make up a portion of biofilm. Its not sustainable beyond a few months (time until starvation).
Itll likely starve to death. Try to create an artificial biofilm with one of the Zeovit products (I forgot which it is)...you can try anything but if tgis species primarily consumes biofilm thats your best bet imoWhat do I feed it if the tank runs out of biofilm algae?It consumes biofilm...thats not exactly a type of algae, although algae does make up a portion of biofilm.
