Hey yall I posted previous threads about my questioning of my floor in my 1940s house ability to hold a 700-800 lb tank. I currently have a 40 gallon in the room over and was going to place it on the adjacent wall. However after consideration I will most probably place the tank near the window. Is the tv this close a worry? California great quake in bound

I would say it's generally considered a bad idea to place a tank in front of a window. It lets too much natural light into the tank, which fuels algae. It can also be drafty, and cause problems with temp swings, though I see you're in sunny California.

I would only worry about that TV.

My blinds are quite strong since I work night shift so the sun will be blocked and yes SoCal has perfect weather luckily. I was worried near my other wall because of the tank on the otherside of the wall 2 feet away
