I will be start stocking my tank soon and just wanted some opinions. This is my list so far

Blue Eyed Tang
Blotched FoxFace
Maroon striped clown
Diamond goby and shrimp
3 PJ Cardinals
Six Line wrasse
Coral Beauty
Anthias and/or chromis (how many?, Which ones)

This is what I have now. I would like your opinions on if I can add more to the list, how many anthias/chromis to get and/or which ones you would recommend. I also thought about some dottybacks.

What are your thoughts?

These all seem fine and you’d be maxed out with all of them. I’ve never had problems with coral beauties but I’ve had customers and clients that didn’t feed them enough and they became polyp eaters. The maroons get pretty good size and can and usually do become very aggressive.
As in it will actually bite you when you stick your hand in the tank. I had about 8 inch one that would hit me so hard it would make me bleed!
Dottybacks are hit and miss, for me mostly miss. For such a small fish they can become territorial and bite other fish. The six line I’ve always experienced well behaved one but I’ve heard of othered that have had some mean ones.
For the chromis, a small school 6 or seven and the anthias one or two. Or nix the anntjias and have a larger school of chromis, they are a lot more resilient than the anthias.

Wow, I could add 6 chromis!?!? That sounds fun. Lol. If I didn't due the anthias, maybe 8 or 9? Do you have any recs on which chromis to get?

I had a coal beauty and 6 line in my former tank that never bothered anything. I'll just need a lid for the 6 line.

Blue green chromis are my favorite and yes you could do 8 or 9 without the anthias.

Thanks so much.

I'm thinking the Tang will go last, but other than that I feel like it won't matter what order they get put in. Maybe the goby and shrimp earlier to make sure the pair find a suitable home before it gets to crowded.
