Posting this during work so I'll keep it short lol but will answer any questions or respond to anything anyone wants to add... Tank is a 80g built in 2017 got for almost nothing. Overflow is a reef synergy shadow, sump is a 40g breeder still need to silicone in the different compartments, pump is a jebao dc 2500gph. All return piping is 1 1/2 inch and plan on running the pump around 2000gph which should give a lot of flow.. also have the surge protector on cabinet rollers so you don't need to crawl inside or behind the stand to mess with the wires. Will post more pics later.... what do you think?? I'm happy with it. Going to plumb my other tanks into the sump at some point.

Yup up and running. Got about 100 lbs of cycled rock for cheap the day someone broke down their tank. Been up for a week feeding powder bacteria and powder ammonia. Went overboard with 6 filter socks, have a massive skimmer to install but right now I'm just trying to get this tank/sump ready to handle a bioload because i have 2 more tanks I want to move in along side this one so I can plumb them all to the same sump and in order to do that I need to move alot of coral fish and rocks out of those tanks and into this one. So far so good. Will update once I get it all hooked up. Have alot of goodies too, wifi dosers Kalk stirrer, wifi ph orp salinity monitor. No apex but a bunch of apex knock off stuff lol also got a tablet to mount to run all the apps on.. lots of work to come.

Here's some pics of the tank now. Put down 40lbs of sand, got a reef octopus 200, massive skimmer lol, new rockscape pretty happy with it, got some livestock 3 tangs, 3 clowns, a copperband butterfly and a blenny. Also have about 40 snails and hermit crabs and some urchins. Also got a pic of some of the LPS from my other tank I plan on putting in, as of right now it's only going to be getting zoas until I got the nutrient suppression stable.
