Woke up this morning to a dead snail with a weird green looking growth on it. My pods were either eating it or the snail, couldn't tell which. The video looks best towards the end. Thanks Snapchat-668835141.jpg

Nope. I pulled it out 24 hours later to see if it would move. No movement. Very light material that would easily break off when touched. I dipped some to see what would happen but I had to leave the house and forgot to look at it.

do you have any anemones that would have split or something? it almost looks like a tiny carpet, idk how they reproduce thoug

Yes, it fell apart easily when picked up. I have sinus issues and can't smell well, so I'm not sure but it might have.
sounds like it may hae been the visceral organs of the snail, since they eat lots of algae it will be releasing lots of green and fluffy material bound with the mucus
