I am super happy to be getting back into reefing after a year break due to a long distance move. I started with purchasing a used 90 gallon reef ready aquarium, canopy and stand.

Here is my equipment list. I previously had a 40 gallon breeder that was running for about 3 years. So I will be using some of the equipment from that tank in this build.

Equipment

2 Radion XR30 G4's - 1 from previous tank and bought 1 used. I need guidance on how to mount these and possibly considering a t5 hybrid setup.
2 mp10's - from previous tank that will be on back glass for now
1 mp40 - new
mix of pukani and marco rock - not sure how many lbs. ended up in the tank and 1 tonga branch
Trigger systems crystal sump 30
reef octopus space saver 110 - from previous tank - plan to upgrade later on
brs carbon reactor
Ice cap internal ATS
2 - 200 watt titanium brs heaters
ink bird for heaters
Vectra m2 return pump - from previous tank
Ice cap 27 watt uv sterilizer
neptune apex
neptune atk
neptune fmk
RO/DI - brs 4 stage 75 gpd - from previous tank
I'm sure I am forgetting something...

Here are some progress pics. I painted the stand to match the built in cabinets that it will sit next to in the basement. Also got the aquascape put together for now. I used the marco cement to secure rocks and create the scape.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or thoughts on the aquascape.

I will be plumbing the UV sterilizer off of my return to go from sump to DT. I am not sure if I should plumb it vertically or horizontally. Any recommendations? I plan to install a 1 inch flow meter on the output of the UV. I'll try and get some sketches of my thoughts uploaded later on. But I am open to any suggestions.

Welcome back! I took a 25 year break, and have been day dreaming since I came back of different things I need, I want, and I can't afford

Edit: you can use citric acid or distilled white wine vinegar to help clean your gear up.

Best wishes in your journey!
