90 gallon predator tank stocking?

setting up a predator saltwater tank and need suggestions, could be one fish or multiple, also on a budget so nothing crazy expensive

That puffer will outgrow a 90, they get to be the size of a football

Did you manage to get a bigger tank?? The lion or the wasp fish would probably be good with the eel in the 90 I would think with good rock work

yea can do bigger tank now having tank upstairs instead of down the eel is currently in with a lion

i know the picasso will outgrow the tank but very slow growers and read someone had 1 for 13 years and never got bigger than 4"

Wouldnt do the picasso trigger. Mean fish, mine killed some fish and started picking at my eels when they were getting food

That puffer will outgrow any tank that someone has on reef 2 reef. Like you said they get bigger then a football.

Fish stores still have and sell them all the time. They aren't a fast swimmer just need enough space to move around.

Buy the smallest one you can find couple inches, don't have a large number of fish, then trade him back in when he gets to larger in years.

This tank was fun for years, 92 gallon display, lasted until I shut it down trading the fish back into local fish store (corner reef). Just so you have some inspiration. Plus wanted you to know a puffer is possible.

It was a stars and strip puffer that did great.

Im not a fan of the “trade a fish in cause it out grew my tank” type of reefing. And I know about their growth and swimming habits, have a porc puffer. He has a 300 gallon 8 foot home. Just not my style to trade a fish cause its too big, my fish are like any other pet I care for, apart of my family so no I dont suggest fish that will outgrow tanks to people because thats my personal belief. Not saying your wrong but thats just my personal philosophy :)
