hello all

please let me introduce me and my tank. i'm 50 years of age, living near heidelberg/germany and keep reef-tanks since 2008/2009. my english is probably not the best but i hope you will understand.
my actual tank is about 900 liter, it is sized 150cm x 100cm x 60cm and started the 4th of july 2021.

from the starting on it was a real trouble tank. it took me 13 month to get in a proper functional status. none of my former tanks made ever such trouble. since around august 22 its fine and getting finer every day.

there are a couple of well known plagues in reefkeeping...i had them all.

nutrient limitation despite suppleyment --> massiv invest in fishpopulation (porcupine pufferfish)
dinoflagellates --> pushing nutrients and reducing lightstress
cryptocarion/ichtyo --> medication
phenganax parrini --> removed two rocks
rtn --> removed affected corals (2)
bryopsis --> medication
problem with a kind of rotten reefplugs from indonesia --> fragmentation; did work for two of five corals
aiptasia --> parchaetodon ocellatus
mismatch with trace-elements --> especially barium
cyanos (al the time till now)

but enough talked... here some pictures so far.
