I am in the beginning stages of building my new system. The DT is a 90g(48"x18x24") and the sump is a Berlin Sump BS-2(30"x14"x16") and should hold between 16-17g when full.

I have not had experience with a Protein skimmer for many years since I have only been running a 14g Biocube, so I was wanting to see what suggestions yall might have for a good Protein Skimmer for my new setup? I would prefer an internal protein skimmer and not a hang on the back or anything I would have to drill the sump for.

Thanks for the help!

Take a look at the SWC Extreme 120 or 160. I have the 160 on my 65 gallon and love it.

I'm running a Reef Octopus NWB150 cone and love it. My tank is the same length but 24x18.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Has anyone ever used a Reef Dynamic Skimmer? I ask because my LFS carries the whole line and I was told by them that they are similar to the Reef Octopus in performance.

i use a reef octo extreme 200 on my 90 gallon. It works great. i bought a bigger skimmer in hopes of adding a frag tank to my system. total tank volume right now is at like 120 gallons.
