Looks like a fun build...I'm an old cichlid guy (first tank in the late 70s) at heart but got bit by the saltwater bug too. I'm in the process of converting my 600 into a full blown reef tank. I'll be following along
 
Very slick looking brick work. I am enjoying your write ups, not too long and plenty of detail.
 
Great build so far, I'm enjoying every update. Lets hope part 3 arrives quickly .
