I am playing with new camera and some new corals.
anyone know what this orange thing is?Its getting bright orange with a green rim.don't know what it is but it is cool.

sweet stuff all of it.

As far as an ID.......hard to be sure from that pic.....but my first guess would be a pavona...second guess would be a Psammacora....but I doubt its the second. I only say that as i used to have one about that color

I say psammacora, his piece doesn't have the little holes/mouths all over like pavona does.

I think now it was sold to me as a psammacora I just coudn't think what it was.Anyways I really like it.Can anyone recondmend a good book to learn all real names of corals?

I second corals of the world.
Julian's book is good when you already know most of the corals and are just doing a quick double check.
