A little help please

Hello, hello...
So excuse the sound of my voice in the video.
But what the heck is this red ball thing in my tank.

I set up my tank about four weeks ago with the light off just rock and sand. I've been told to either throw pellets in or a shrimp.

There's this strange ball in my thank that's alive. Do I keep it or suck it out!
